Shuler Award Winners (Part 2): Interview with Harrison Lewis

In this episode (Part 2 in a two-part series), we have the opportunity to interview recent Milton High School graduate Harrison Lewis. Harrison won a 2019 Shuler Award for his role as Lieutenant Frank Cioffi in Milton’s production of “Curtains” earlier this year.

Harrison shares his own musical theater journey and breaks down his process for bringing a character to life from the script.

We are cheering both Harrison and Jessi on as they compete at the Jimmy Awards in New York this week.

And courtesy of ArtsBridge, we close out the episode with a clip of Harrison singing a song from “Curtains.”

Be sure to go back and listen to Part 1 of this series with Jessi Kirtley, who won the 2019 Shuler for Best Actress in a Leading Role: http://www.atlantatobroadway.com/2019/06/19/shuler-award-winner-part-1-interview-with-jessi-kirtley/
